For someone who used to fall asleep with her hand in a bag of chips (yes, there are pictures to prove it) I think I’ve come a long way in terms of healthy snacking. There are definitely days when I crave chips, but knowing that I’ve managed to go so many weeks at a time without it helps me avoid the temptation. The good thing is, I’ve replaced chips with something else that I love just as much… fruit! Yep, here I go again about fruit LOL, but you have to admit that this bowl looks heavenly! All it took for this mix was an apple, a banana and an orange with a light drizzle of honey. Next time you’re cozy-ing up to watch a movie and need something to snack on… look to whatever fruit you have laying around in your kitchen and dice them up. If honey isn’t your thing, try adding some Greek yogurt, a scoop of ice cream, or even fruit juice for that little something extra.
Remember… it’s never a bad thing to treat yourself every now and then… moderation is the key to a balanced lifestyle = )
